Ok its been a while since ive updated this!! Sorry!

A combination of a broken laptop[a donation welcome :P] and the start of the busy outdoor season has led to me neglecting the blog for a while but ill do my best to get back on track.A few bullet points on whats happened since my last post-

*Kerry Juvenile T+F Title-St Brendan's
*Kerry Senior mens & womens T+F titles-St Brendan's
*Successful Schools championships with Pres Tralee winning All Ireland senior girls trophy and Mounthawk finishing in second place in the overall school title.
*Gneeveguilla,An Riocht,Estuary and St Brendan's AC Open sports were held successfully.
*Claire Fitzgearld competes for Ferrybank in European Club championships.

Yes very brief i know but it will have to do until the end of season review.

The first round of the Woodies DIY National league was held in An Riocht track Castleisland on Sunday last and was the only athletics competition in the country not washed out by the horrendous weather everywhere else in the country. Both Kerry mens and womens teams were competing in the premier division again this season with both recieving tough draws with the women up against Ferrybank AC who finished second at the recent european club championships.Competitions began at 11.30am with the hammer competitions as usual and finished ahead of schedule at 5pm with the 4x400m relays. At the end of the day the men created a small bit of history when they finished on 120points to lead their group from Leevale AC in Cork but also leading the entire competition ahead of North Down AC who won the other group in Sligo on the day.The womens team finished on a very high total of 111 points which placed them third on the day and fifth overall. Both teams now look forward to round two on July 17th in Athlone where they will be hoping to qualify for the final in August.
